September is Menopause Awareness Month. I will admit that I didn’t know this until recently. Being pregnant, menopause isn’t really on my mind right now. But it has been in the past because I have seen Grambo go through the changes.
September is Menopause Awareness Month
Even if you’re not in menopause, you probably know someone who is dealing with it. You may have seen their ups and downs. I know I saw my mom go through it (and still deal with it) and will admit that it’s not something I’m looking forward to facing. And if you’re dealing with menopause now, I’m sure every month feels like Menopause Awareness Month.
Grambo experienced (and still does from time to time) the typical hot flashes and night sweats. But she also handled some weight gain and some trouble sleeping. She did as many natural things as she could, including improving her diet and exercising.
But sometimes it just isn’t enough and she doesn’t feel like she’s at her best.
