Over the past week, I’ve shared some of our recent Easy Elf on the Shelf Ideas to show you that it doesn’t have to be difficult to get creative with your elf. I know the younger kids are often wrapped up in the magic of it all and all you really have to do is place your elf in a different location around your home each day.
But if you want to get a bit more creative without having to go crazy, consider some of these easy ideas! They are also fun if you want your elf to bring your child a few gifts during the long days leading up to Christmas.
A Week of Easy Elf on the Shelf Ideas
This week of ideas will help you cross at least one week of your calendar this year (or help you plan for next year’s elf adventures)!
- Princess Dreams
- Block Party
- Stuffed Animal Karaoke Party
- Elf’s Got a New Car
- Working Overtime
- Elf Hugs
- Bedtime Story
These ideas are geared more towards the younger kids but can easily be adapted slightly for kids a bit older! It’s all about making this magical fun easy!
We also have another week of fun Elf on the Shelf ideas to give you more inspiration!

We never did Elf on the Shelf. I would like to start, however, with my son being 22 and my hubby, I am almost nervous to see what the Elf would get into, hahaha!

These are cute ideas! My grandsons love waking up every morning and seeing where our Elf moved.
