Back in July, I had the opportunity to try an adorable and organic outfit from Zutano. It fit W great and was of extremely high quality. He wore the outfit until he grew out of it and it held up so well through multiple washes. I was extremely impressed with the quality and the unique variety of baby and toddler clothing available at Zutano. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Zutano once again as part of the Spring Fashionista event beginning on March 2nd!
Zutano clothing is made with the softest cottons for each new product and made in a rainbow of colors and prints that makes them unique and perfect for little ones! We received a button down shirt in the Locomotive print and Periwinkle Toddler Jean in size 3T. For this outfit I decided to go with a 3T even though I knew it would be large because some of the 2T shirts we have are starting to get a bit snug. This was our first experience with Zutano Toddler clothes so I wasn’t sure how they would be cut. I have always ordered up a size with Zutano so I did the same this time.
Based on the Zutano size chart and W’s current height and weight (just check last week at 14.5 months), it’s a good thing I ordered the size 3T. According to the size chart, 3T fits 33-36 pounds and W is currently 35 pounds. It also fits 36″-39″ and W is only 32.5″ so I expected the pants to be long on him. I was correct!
The shirt was just slightly big on him and so it will be great for the coming spring and summer months. The pants were a bit long but I simply rolled them a few times and W was good to go!
My favorite thing about Zutano clothing is the softness of all of the pieces. I also noticed that with the toddler clothing, both the shirt and the pants have a great stretch to them. With my chunky monkey, I am a huge fan of stretch! The toddler jeans are cotton and stretch but have the details that make them look different from most of the cotton pants I have been able to find in my local stores. I love that they look like they have a button but it’s an elastic waistband!
The little details are definitely what sets the Zutano clothing apart from other shirts and pants that we own. I love the pocket detail on the toddler jean pants. They just add a special something. I also love the use of bright colors in a print that isn’t typical of many of the clothes available for boys. The button down, short sleeve shirt is a nice change of pace and gives a different look from the t-shirts and polo shirts W usually wears.
If you’re looking for children’s clothing that is unique and comfortable, I definitely recommend Zutano. It is a bit pricier than most of the everyday clothing I usually purchase for W. For special occasions, especially something like family photos, I think it is definitely worth the price. The pieces are extremely versatile and you can put together an outfit that works for more dressy situations or take your little one outside to play in their Zutano clothing!

LOVE Zutano, absolutely my favorite kid’s clothing company. Had some items from them when my daughter was a baby, they were so soft and easy to put on and take off!
