Journey To Oz Balloon Tour

The Journey to OZ Has Begun

Disney’s Oz the Great and Powerful opens in theaters on March 8th, but the journey to OZ has begun! The “Journey to OZ Balloon tour” is sponsored by leading multichannel retailer HSN and IMAX Corporation to support the film. When I saw this photo, all I could think was WOW!

Growing up at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, I was lucky enough to see my fair share of hot air balloons. It was just something that people did. There were festivals and it was pretty amazing to see one rise up into the early morning sky. The beauty of it always took my breath away no matter how many times I saw it happen!

What perfect magic to help promote Disney’s Oz the Great and Powerful, the film that imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. I have been a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz since I played Auntie Em in a children’s theater production of the show when I was 12. So I will be in the theaters March 8th!
