SpongeBob SquarePants: Ghoul Fools DVD

I’ve realized something about Halloween. I like it. I really do. Now I don’t love dressing up but I love dressing W up. I love candy. And I love Halloween specials. But I don’t like horror movies. So, that really does limit my Halloween viewing. Or it used to limit it! Now that I have a child, I’m discovering whole new worlds of specials and shows that work for the Halloween season.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Ghoul Fools is one of those DVDs that works well around Halloween. In the title (double) episode, SpongeBob and Patrick find a haunted houseboat of ghost pirates and get caught in the feud between them and the Flying Dutchman. It’s not perfectly Halloween themed but it definitely works if you’re looking for something to watch.

The DVD has a running time of approximately 88 minutes and includes additional episodes:

  • The Curse of Bikini Bottom
  • Ghost Host
  • Born Again Krabs
  • Arrgh!
  • Your Shoe’s Untied
  • Money Talks
It’s definitely a fun way to get in the ghostly spirit of Halloween with the kids. And if the kids in your life are like the ones I spend my days with, SpongeBob SquarePants will be a huge hit! The DVD is also great because it’s not specifically Halloween themed so it can be out on the shelf all year long too!

    I’m with you, I don’t like horror movies but Halloween is definitely one of those holidays that is so neat to watch kids enjoy. My son loves Spongebob, so this would be a hit with him!

    I’m such a big wimp anymore. I used to watch scary movies all the time and now, biggest chicken EVER! Maybe I’ll stick with SpongeBob Halloween movies instead.
