We received The Cat in the Hat from the Dr. Seuss eco-plush collection. The eco-plush collection features both The Cat in the Hat and Horton. The Cat in the Hat is made from cotton that’s untreated, unprocessed, and unbleached. He’s colored with miYim’s all-natural PureWaterWash process using only plants and minerals, and is tested and certified non-toxic.
I was impressed by how soft Cat was and I didn’t want to let go of him to share with W. Of course, W wasn’t having that so I had to give up with Cat. As an elementary school teacher, I am a huge Dr. Seuss fan so I love that miYim offers this line. I also liked the size of the plush. He measures 15″ long so he is definitely a good-sized plush animal. His lanky arms and legs make it easy to tuck him away in the toy box when it’s time to clean up.
The Cat in the Hat was an immediate hit in our house. I liked the coloring because it is different from the other plush toys we have. I like the muted coloring that still speaks of the Cat in the Hat coloring we are all familiar with from the books and television show. I have gotten a number of comments from people who have seen W playing with the toy. Everyone I’ve talked to about it likes the coloring and how soft the top is to the touch.
