ecoSTORE USA offers a variety of plant- and mineral-based cleaning, bath & body, and baby care products. All of the products offered at ecoSTORE USA are non-toxic and environmentally safe. As I work to make more and more small decisions that are more eco-friendly, I was pleased to have the opportunity to try some of the wonderful baby care products from ecoSTORE USA.

ecoSTORE USA

All of the baby care products available at ecoSTORE USA are made using only the best plant-based ingredients and essential oils to gently soothe, nourish and help protect baby’s sensitive skin. Besides being more environment-friendly, the reason behind this is that skin conditions, rashes and other chronic problems such as asthma and allergies can be relieved or avoided by using safer, healthier eco-friendly products.

ecoSTORE USA Baby Moisturizer & Nappy BalmI had the opportunity to review two of the products from the ecoSTORE USA baby care line. We received the Baby Nappy Balm and the Baby Moisturizer to try.

I was interested in the Nappy Balm because I thought it might be safe to use with our cloth diapers. After reading the ingredient list, I did see that it has zinc oxide in it. I’ve read a few articles about zinc oxide and how it really isn’t great for cloth, so once it arrived I made the decision not to use it with our diapers. However, it still came in very handy!

Since we are still using disposables at night and when we are out and about for long stretches of time, I have been using the Baby Nappy Balm if I see any redness before W’s going to be in a disposable.

I have been very pleased with it the few times I had used it so far. It is unscented and I have primarily been using it before I put W in his night diaper to prevent any redness as well. I am also thinking of trying it on the bit of cradle cap that W still has because it is starting to bother me! ecoSTORE USA says that the Nappy Balm can be used on diaper rash, cradle cap, and other irritations so this is my next adventure! I will let you know how it turns out. If you’re a disposable diaper user and you’re looking for a natural, chemical free diaper cream I would definitely recommended the Baby Nappy Balm!

The Baby Moisturizer is also chemical-free and can be used daily to help moisturize your baby’s skin! It is scented and the scent smells very much like Eucalyptus. It took me a moment to place the scent but when I read the ingredient list and saw Eucalyptus Globulus Oil, I assumed that was what was giving the lotion a scent. I’ve used this on W after a few of his baths and also just on  few days when I felt some of his skin was on the dry side. It works well and doesn’t leave an oily residue. Once I rubbed it in, he was good to go!

I really like knowing that these products are non-toxic and chemical-free. Although W doesn’t seem to have any skin sensitivities, it still makes me feel better to know that more natural products are on his skin!
