Review: Dipe n’ Go from Juvenile Solutions

No matter how prepared I try to be when we head out of the house, I’m always worried that I’m forgetting something. One piece of advice my sister-in-law gave me early on was to have some supplies in the car, just in case! I thought that was good advice, especially when it comes to diapering. Sure, I can’t leave bottles or baby food in the car but those are the things that I always check before we go out. I will admit that I don’t always remember to check the baby wipes and little things like that! Luckily, Juvenile Solutions has a great solution for me! If you read my review of the Baby Cubes from Juvenile Solutions, you already know that they offer some innovative products to help with all your baby needs. The Dipe n’ Go is no exception!

Dipe n' Go from Juvenile Solutions

The Dipe n’ Go is a great portable changing pad designed to hold everything you need to take care of your child’s diaper changing needs while on the go!

Dipe n' Go Changing PadThe Dipe n’ Go was designed to be an all-in-one changing station for use in the car. It has multiple pockets for all of your storage needs and easily folds up to stow away in the car. I keep it in the back of my SUV and have used it when I was low on other supplies. I also used it to change W in the mall parking lot one day when I completely forgot to stick the diaper case I have back in the diaper bag after taking it to pack other items in!

The Dipe n’ Go is very versatile because it is so portable. Its design also allows it to be attached to the inside of your vehicle using velcro which is a nice feature because it keeps the changing pad from sliding around as you try to change your child. If your baby is anything like W right now, he moves enough during diaper changes! I don’t need the changing pad sliding around too!

The sizing is very generous as well. When it is folded and closed up, it measures 15.5″ x 12.5″. When it is open it measures 15.5″ x 35″ which is long enough for my super tall baby! As W continues to get longer and longer, I have become acutely aware of the length of different baby products. The Dipe n’ Go provides plenty of room and I definitely appreciate that!

Generous pockets in Dipe n' GoThe Dipe n’ Go features 3 pockets and all are generously sized. Although we usually keep disposable diapers in the back of the car in case of emergencies, the Dipe n’ Go pockets are large enough to squeeze in one cloth diaper as well, so that is a wonderful feature. It Dipe n’ Go features two larger pockets and one smaller pocket. I love to keep our CJ’s BUTTer stick in the smaller pocket and then use the bigger pockets for diapers and wipes. It works out perfectly for us!

The fabric is easy to clean with just a damp wipe if you’re on the go or you can throw it in the washing machine when you get home and it will be as good as new. It is essential for everything related to diaper changing to be easy to clean and the Dipe n’ Go is one of the easiest so you don’t have to worry about ending up with a huge mess.

Large enough for big babies!Although the Dipe n’ Go is designed for use in your vehicle, I love the portability factor. If we’re out and about, I can just throw it in the basket of our stroller if I think I’m going to need it!

The multi-colored polka dot fabric print is fairly gender neutral, although it does have a number of pink dots. Still, it wasn’t something W was going to be wearing or even a staple in our diaper bag so it didn’t concern me much. But if you’re looking for a completely gender neutral print or more of a boyish print, the Dipe n’ Go isn’t completely neutral. Perhaps they will develop even more prints in the future. I would love a Dipe n’ Go in some bright, primary colors!

For a bit of perspective on the size of the Dipe n’ Go, in the photo on the left W is about 25 pounds and 31″ long so it definitely accommodates larger babies! There is room for him without his little bottom hanging off the end! Yes, we have had that problem with other changing pads!

The Dipe n’ Go retails for $19.99 and you can find a retailer near you using the Juvenile Solutions store locator. You can also find it online at Babies ‘R Us! You can also get connected with Juvenile Solutions on Facebook and Twitter!

Aquababy Bath Ring (very timely because my Mouse is outgrowing his wash pod) and
Baby Cubes (also timely because Mouse has just started eating food other than breast milk!)
