Philips AVENT Natural Bottle
Contrary to a commonly held thought, Formula Mom is not a blog about formula feeding. It’s a blog about what has worked for my family as I figure out my formula for motherhood. That being said, we did end up being a formula feeding family. I had a very emotional journey from breastfeeding to formula.
Bottles became an essential part of our daily lives much more quickly than I ever anticipated. We have used a variety of different bottles over the past year and a half. W still has one small bottle of water at night before bedtime. I have seen what works for us and what doesn’t work as well. So I was extremely interested to learn about the new Philips AVENT Natural Bottle.
Natural Way to Bottle Feed
AVENT has introduced the new natural bottle as a more natural way to bottle feed. As a bottle feeding mom who spent a lot of time worrying about finding the best bottle and nipple for my child, I was intrigued. Reading the features of the natural bottles only made me more interested.
- The wide breast-shaped nipple promotes a more natural latch. This is great for babies who are both bottle and breastfed. It’s also great for babies who are only bottle fed because I like to take a more natural approach as often as I can.
- The nipple is designed to be extra soft and flexible. This makes feeding more comfortable for my little man.
- The ergonomic shape makes the bottle easy to grip and hold in almost any position. This has been one of my biggest challenges when it comes to bottles. I love the wider design of these bottles but it’s not too wide either!
- The innovative twin valve is an advanced anti-colic system. Although we didn’t have trouble with colic or gas, I know many of my mom friends have so this is a great feature.
Convenience and Compatibility
One of my favorite things about the new AVENT Natural Bottles is that they are compatible with the majority of the AVENT line. We have a few other AVENT bottles so I liked knowing that I was growing our bottle collection with pieces that could work together! It makes it easier when you’re taking bottles out of the dishwasher! Matching parts up is definitely not the most fun!
The bottles are also easy to clean because they only have a few parts! The wide bottle design is my favorite because it is so easy to clean. It’s also easy to fill which is important when you’re trying to do it quickly! I have made my fair share of messes while filling bottles!
