Novi Stars Dolls
Talk about excited! My nine-year old daughter and her friends were ecstatic to find one of the Novi Stars at our house a few nights back! I had never heard of them and was curious to see what the “fuss” was all about.
Novi Stars are cosmic girls on a mission to meet new friends and try new things while they figure out what is going on here on Earth! They are all about fashion and friends! And each alien girl has her own unique personality and characteristics.
Mae Tallick is an adorable alien girl who, at the age of 13.7 billion years (light-years at that) old, has landed on earth and is excited to act human. She, like every other girl I’ve ever met, wants to become a pop star. She fit right in at our house as she has a fashion style that’s shiny, electrifying and metallic – everything my daughter loves!
Meet Mae Tallick
In addition to being a shining, glamour girl, Mae Tallick talks (when her ear is pressed) non-stop with phrases that include: “Cosmiccccc!”, “Yikes, circuit overload!”, and “That’s so cosmic fly!”
She has arrived on roller skates which my daughter thought was great. And according to the box, she really doesn’t get the beach. This wasn’t so great, but completely understandable according to my daughter. Because really she’s an alien and we all know “aliens come with all kinds of metal, nuts and bolts that would get ruined there!”
You have to love the kid logic. Sometimes it actually makes sense.
Her removable wig was interesting to me as it hides the battery compartment. But it was another great selling point for my daughter and her friends. According to the girls, Mae Tallick has amazing hair!
Her pet 8-Bit is a cutie and the doll comes with a glow in the dark doll stand. It took me several minutes to get her to stand in it only to fall right out. But, in true kid magic fashion, my daughter had the doll in the stand in no time flat and she stayed there on her nightstand overnight!
Daughter Approved
I think that Mae Tallick may be having a slumber party here soon with her Novi Star friends Ali Roma, Una Verse and Alie Lectric. The imaginations of the older girls were in full bloom playing with Mae Tallick. That is something I don’t see as often as I would like now that the kids are older.
I definitely know what our friends girls will be getting on the next gift giving occasion. Our Novi Stars friend was nothing less than a hit!

My daughter would love this doll! She plays more than any kid I have ever known! I think it is super cute! Love the eyes and hair!
Daughter drools over these dolls every time we go to the store. She does not have one yet, but she has them on her Xmas list. She did purchase one of the pets awhile back (right when the line came out). The pet is also adorable! She is excited about this giveaway and our fingers (and arms and legs) are crossed!
