Celebrating Small with Nohi Kids
Nohi Kids is all about kids. It’s all about celebrating little ones with high-quality, comfortable, and eco-friendly clothing.
In the Maori language, nohi nohi means, “to be small”. In Japan, Kodomo Nohi, one of the most popular national holidays, is a day to celebrate children. And, in Hawaiian, Nohi means brightly colored and vivid.
While I love that Nohi Kids clothing is eco-friendly, made with organic cotton and bamboo, I will admit that I first fell in love with the adorable designs.
When I had the opportunity to choose a shirt for W from the Nohi collection, it was a challenge. I would have taken one of each! It’s a good thing I don’t have a little girl because I loved the line for girls too! I decided on the short-sleeved Robot Tee in Dune. I immediately fell in love with the design and was interested to see the dune color.
When the shirt arrived, I was thrilled with the quality! The colors were vibrant and the material was so soft! Those are two things I look for when buying new clothes for W. They have to be soft and look like they are well-made. The Nohi Kids shirt definitely hit the mark in both areas.
Nohi Kids Clothing is Eco-Friendly & Kid-Friendly
The shirt is made from 50% certified organic cotton, 48% fiber from bamboo, and 2% lycra. This is a great mix because bamboo is known to be the fastest naturally growing plant on earth, making it renewable and sustainable. My family has been making small changes to live a more earth-friendly lifestyle so the shirt is a great addition to W’s closet.
Clothing made with bamboo fiber is highly breathable. This helps kids stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. It is also great for sensitive skin and naturally protects from UV rays. Combined with the softness of the fabric, it is a fabulous for W to wear on a daily basis.
We have a shirt in size 3 years because W is wearing a mix of 2T and 3T clothing right now. I loved the fit of the Nohi shirt. It fits him now but he still has room to grow so it should last for a while.
The shirt has also washed very well. We haven’t had any fading of the color and all stains have washed out without extra effort!
Nohi Kids believes in giving back and making the world a better place for allchildren. They have made charitable giving an important part of their business. They participate in many fundraisers and community events throughout the year. They also donate a percentage of profits to organizations that contribute to the health and well-being of children.
Nohi offers a 20% off coupon to anyone who donates gently used children’s clothing, shoes, or other useful products to one of the charities listed on the Nohi website.
Shop Nohi Kids
The Robot tee in Dune is available on the Nohi Kids website for $29.50. I have learned that organic and eco-friendly clothing is more expensive but also seems to hold up very well making it worth the investment. You can also connect with Nohi Kids on Facebook and on Twitter @nohikids!
