Joovy Foocot

Joovy Foocot Has Saved Nap Time!

Nap time at our house has recently become extinct. We went from two naps today that usually lasted at least 2 hours to one nap that was only lasting 45 minutes. It was not a good development. I know that W is probably done taking two naps a day but I wasn’t ready to give up on getting a few hours of sleep out of him during the day. Cranky W in the evenings is not fun!

The Joovy Foocot has come to the rescue! The child cot is great for traveling and I cannot wait to try it out. I would love to not have to share a hotel bed with W! But for now it has solved a problem right at home.

W napped in a pack ‘n play when he was smaller but then he got too big for it. He had been napping on the pad from the pack ‘n play on the floor downstairs. I think it may have been contributing to short naps. It wasn’t the most comfortable place to sleep. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to the Foocot from Joovy because I needed something new!

Reclaiming Nap Time with Joovy Foocot

Durable and Easy to Set Up

The Foocot was extremely easy to set up. Once I took it out of the carrying case, I unfolded it and we were ready to go! The cot supports a child up to 48 inches tall or 75 pounds. This means that we will be able to get a lot of use out of it. W is only 35 pounds and 36 inches long. I love that we should have time to get a lot of use out of the Foocot!

As soon as I had the cot set up, W was on it! He was ready to sit and relax. He was also happy to take his cup with him and spill on the fabric too! Life with children! With the accompanying fitted sheet, I was able to take it right off and throw it into the washing machine. That just left a little wet spot on the actual Foocot.

Safety with Joovy Foocot

Safety is Important with Joovy

The Foocot is simple to set up and I love the added safety feature of the latch on the frame. It made me feel better about having W on the cot. I knew that he wasn’t going to be able to fold it up and get his fingers pinched. It will be quite a while before he can unhook the latch so we’re good to go!

Nap Time Returns with Joovy Foocot

Toddlers Rest Peacefully on the Foocot

Thanks to the Joovy Foocot we are now back to longer naps. Most days I only get one nap but it is usually at least 90 minutes long. A few have stretched past 2 hours! It’s a huge improvement and makes for a happier little man later in the day!

The Foocot is great because it is extremely portable. I fold it up when W is not using it and put it away. It’s quick and easy to do! It wouldn’t take up much space in the car when going on a trip either! It only weighs in an 6.61 pounds so it is definitely great for when you’re on the move!

To check out all of the great Foocot colors and the entire product line, visit the Joovy website! You can also purchase your own for $69.99 and have the peace of mind of bringing your own cot when you travel. You won’t have to depend on hotels any longer! 1. Aww! I’m glad he likes it. The Foocot really does seem like a handy thing to have around the house for toddlers.

  2. Jasmine said “I don’t like her lipstick” LOL. I told her that he’s a boy and that’s is “papoo” in his mouth. Looks like little W really likes his new Foocot. Great review.
