My Hollywood Debut
Yesterday I arrived in Los Angeles for the first time in my life. I was ready to make my Hollywood debut! It’s only my second time visiting California. My flight was fabulous and when we pulled up to the gorgeous Loews Hollywood Hotel. Right in the middle of Hollywood. I still cannot believe that when I look out my window I see this amazing view.
It was a gorgeous sight to wake up to this morning. I’m loving the weather here. I’m also love the chance to wander around the heart of Hollywood and check out the sites. There are some crazy sites to see for sure!
Last night we had the fabulous opportunity to visit Madame Tussauds in Hollywood. Madam Tussauds has a special place in my heart. The only other time I have been was in Las Vegas with my sister when she turned 21. That was the last big trip I ever took with her. So it was a bit emotional to visit another location.
But it was fabulous be out there making new memories. Memories I know my sister would have loved! And I was absolutely thrilled when I turned a corner and spotted Sue Sylvester! My photographer was a bit goofy so it was hard to stop laughing. But I was having a blast!
Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood
I was lucky enough to enjoy an amazing dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Blvd. It was an evening filled with great new memories, wonderful food, and fabulous new friends! What more could a girl ask for on her first trip to Hollywood. Oh, and I can even see part of the Hollywood sign from my hotel room. I’m working on getting a better picture of it. But then I will share.
Today was a busy morning followed by an afternoon and evening that were all about Frankenweenie! I have tons to share about it now that I’m back in my hotel room. But it will have to wait until tomorrow! I will give you a little sneak peek though.
Frankenweenie Premiere at El Capitan
It’s not the easiest to see in this shot from across the street but there was no red carpet. It was all about the WHITE carpet! I loved that special little detail! I also loved seeing how they set things up as the day went on. The El Capitan theater was all about the Frankeweenie!
I cannot wait to share my adventures with you as well as my thoughts on the movie. The bottom line is that I loved it. I laughed and I cried. I fell in love with Sparky again. (Yes, I might have had a bit of an obsession with him before I even saw the movie.) He’s just so cute!
But enough for now. My bed is calling me!
Which character are you looking forward to seeing in Frankenweenie?
