Jingit & Box Tops for Education

That lovely playground is one that my son will play on in just a few short years. The school I work at has a similar piece of playground equipment. It was gifted to the school by the PTO. The money was earned through the Box Tops for Education program. Maybe you’ve seen the Box Tops on some of your groceries and wondered what they could do. Bottom line is that they do great things for local schools!

When I learned that I could earn money and bonus Box Tops using Jingit, I was ready to check it out! Of course, I’m also a bit of a technology geek so I love checking out new apps as well!

Earn bonus Box Tops with Jingit!

Jingit offers the opportunity to earn cash from your favorite brands. You can watchvideos online and find products in-store to earn. An app is available for iPhone and Droid phones with iOS. You can download the Jingit app and try it out. You can also check out my #jingit4edu experience Google+ album to see how it worked for me!

It was simple to sign up online using my Facebook account. Then I was able to download the app to J’s iPhone through the App Store. Then I was ready to head out to Walmart for another fabulous grocery shopping trip! I will admit that I was a bit excited to use the app. It made shopping just a bit more fun!

Shopping and Earning with Jingit!

Shopping & Earning with Jingit!

Although I don’t have to pack lunches for work anymore since I’m only teaching half day, I need snacks! Everyone at school needs healthy snacks! At my school we have snack time once a day. If no one has donated snacks, our school provides them. This is an extra cost for my campus. Programs like Box Tops for Education can even help with expenses like these!

Collecting and turning in Box Tops can make a difference in a child’s day at school! Or even a teacher’s day!

So I was ready to earn those bonus Box Tops (and a little cash for myself).

Earn & Save with #jingit4edu

My favorite thing about Walmart and General Mills teaming up with Jingit is that I can earn money on products I would normally buy! Yoplait, Fiber One, and Nature Valley are all brands that we use regularly when stocking up on snacks. They make great work and school snacks!

Oh and if you noticed, I was already earning 2 Box Tops by purchasing Go-Gurt! Even better! I collect Box Tops and turn them in for my class. Our school has a competition to see which classes can collect the most each year. My little ones don’t bring in many but I like to collect for us! In the end, it all goes towards bettering our school!

Scan and earn with Jingit!

So I scanned and started earning! A few products later, I had earned 4 bonus Box Tops for my school! I’d also earned $2 for myself! I’m planning on saving my Jingit credits to use on iTunes! What a great way to treat myself after all of those long grocery shopping trips! Every busy mom deserves a little treat now and then!

I usually spend my extra money on things for W. It’s just the way I am these days. So Jingit is a nice little way to collect a bit of change for myself. I’ve been eyeing a few of my favorite songs from the Glee soundtracks.

Earn at Home with Jingit #jingit4edu

Earn at Home

While I loved being able to earn while grocery shopping and benefit my school, I like that I can earn at home with Jingit too! It’s simple to start earning. All I had to do was watch a video and then answer a few quick questions. Before you know it, you’ve earned some money and box tops! How easy is that?

I love finding easy ways to earn and make a difference. So I’ll admit I’ve become slight addicted to my Jingit app. I’m having fun shopping and seeing what products are available when I’m at the store. It might happen to you too! Don’t say I didn’t warn you! But at least you’ll be making a difference in the lives of kids!

Start Making a Difference with Jingit

You can make a difference on a local school campus while also earning a bit of cash that could make a difference for your family. You have to go grocery shopping anyway, right? Why not make money and a donation while getting a chore done?

You can learn more about Jingit on Facebook and on Twitter @jingit. You can sign up for Jingit and then download the app to get started!

What school would receive your bonus Box Tops?
