Hot summer days can mean the air conditioner and fans have to put in extra work to keep things cool around the house. With summer temperatures in the high 90s most days, we have both going. We use a number of fans around the house in an effort to keep our air conditioner set at a higher temperature. This means I’m always on the hunt for fans that are attractive and work well!
The Honeywell with Febreze Freshness™ Cool & Refresh Fan combines some of my favorite features into one fan! It’s a small, compact fan that works well in any room of the house. It features 2 speeds and oscillates! It also features 2 aroma control settings featuring an Set & Refresh Advanced Odor Eliminator scent cartridge. The cartridge lasts approximately 30 days depending on how often you use the fan and the fan speed you use.
Because of the Febreze cartridge there is a bit more prep work to be done before using the fan. With most fans you can plug it in and starting feeling the breeze. With the Honeywell Cool & Refresh fan, you have to install the Febreze cartridge first. Luckily it was very easy to do! There were directions in the box and some extra guidance right on the fan!
It took just a minute to get the Febreze Set & Refresh cartridge into the fan. As soon as I installed it into the fan, I could already smell the fresh clean scent! The fan has adjustable scent settings depending on your needs. I found that using the lowest setting work just fine in our living room. Once the fan was on, it filled the entire living room and breakfast area with the clean, familiar Febreze scent. It made it smell like I had just cleaned the house!
I have been using the fan in the living room because that is the room we’re in most often during the summer. But I think the fan in our bedroom is on its last leg. The Honeywell Cool & Refresh Fan may be moving to our bedroom soon! I have slept with a fan since I was a young child. I need the white noise to sleep and I enjoy having the air in the room circulating as well.

That sounds so EXTRA cool! I would love to have this in my living and dining room area. Now that makes me reconsider which prize package I would want to win. I thought I really wanted the office one… Can I have both if I win?! LOL

Talk about multitasking! One unit that cleans, cools and refreshes! I love it!
I love that it has an odor eliminator and works as a fan. This would be great for our playroom.
I really need one of these in our livingroom/kitchen area. Not because it stinks, but because it is the hottest area of the house. It’s the area we live in the most. This fan would make it so much better.

This is exactly what I’ve been needing. we have a dinky 10 ft by 55 ft place and this little fan is just the right size that we need to keep my lil living area cool in our 90 – 102 degree weather. Febreeze is my fav product too, gotta know and trust they know what they are doin.

I love that this uses fabreeze scents that make you house smell fresh and that the low setting works for a living room area so this would probably work to cover the Cigarette smoke smell that seeps into my small apartment
Sounds like a great idea. I need a new fan and love that it makes the room smell good which would be a plus with having 5 cats and 3 dogs.

This would be a great idea for us to have. With 3 kids playing soccer and 4 cats….it can really smell at times! This would be perfect.
I would absolutely love having this for our home. With two standard poodles in the house, I always worry how fresh the house smells. This would definitely take the worry out of that!

This would be a fantastic product any time of the year- not just in the summer but anytime the house is closed up! We use a fan at times in te winter to circulate thewarm air- this would do well then too!

I could definitely use this in my home to get rid of odors from the railroad yard, burnt food and pets. Honeywell has always been a reliable product so I know it would be a good investment.

I LOVE a house that smells good and to have it as a fan too is a major plus. Keeping our house cooled is quite a chore!
