I probably shouldn’t be as excited as I am about the opening of a new LEGO Store because W has a long way to go before he is ready for the small blocks. But when I was at the mall a few weeks ago, they were interviewing for a brand new LEGO Store that is opening at The Woodlands Mall in Spring 2012!

New Lego Store Opening in The Woodlands

LEGO® stores feature an assortment of product covering nearly every square inch of space and each store features three key design components. The “Pick-A-Brick Wall”, by far the most popular store feature, offers the option to hand-pick and purchase specific LEGO bricks and elements in a variety of colors and shapes in bulk. The “Living Room” is an interactive play area prominently positioned in the center of the store, giving consumers a chance to get “hands-on, minds-on” with LEGO products. Finally, a “Brand Ribbon” runs the circumference of the store, featuring LEGO model displays, company history and fun facts to entertain guests.

The store will feature a full selection of LEGO products and branded merchandise for children ages 2 and up, including LEGO DUPLO sets, LEGO Games, brand lines such as NINJAGO and popular licensed lines such as LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Harry Potter.

Perhaps I will get to go shopping there earlier than I thought! W could definitely use some LEGO DUPLO sets to add to his block collection. I will be waiting for the store to open just to check it out! It might be perfect when Christmas rolls around!

Do you have a LEGO fan in your family? What type of LEGO products do you typical purchase for your kids? Do you have a LEGO store near you?
