Frankenweenie Solves My Halloween Woes
I don’t dress up for Halloween. Not because I don’t believe it in. But because I never know what to be. And I feel awkward. But I love dressing W up. (Although I’ve only done it once so far.) J also loves dressing up so I guess I’m the oddball. But this Halloween I have a simple solution to the problem. When I was in LA for the white carpet premiere of Frankenweenie, I received a great goodie bag featuring products promoting the film.
As soon as I spotted the Victor mask in the bag, I snatched it right out! How perfect it was for accompanying W while he goes trick-or-treating this year! It’s simple and easy to carry along with me. If anyone asks me where my costume is, I’ll be prepared! Although I’m thinking I may need a Frankenweenie shirt to go along with it!
Make Your Own Frankenweenie Masks
You can make your own Frankenweenie masks as well! While I’ll be using mine when I roam the neighborhood in a few weeks, you could have a fun craft afternoon with your kids using them too! At the rate we’re going with W and his costume (he runs away when I get it out), he may be carrying a mask too. It’s a good thing there are some great choices!
You can be Sparky, Victor Frankenstein, Elsa Van Helsing, or Weird Girl. Hmm… maybe I should make a new mask and be Weird Girl! I would just need to find a Mr. Whiskers!
What to do:
- Download the Frankenweenie masks and directions here.
- Print the character you like on cardstock.
- Cut out on the dotted lines. (Don’t forget holes for your eyes!)
- Attach a popsicle stick to the bottom and you’re ready to go spook some people!
Frankenweenie opens October 5th!
