Easy Football Snackadium Recipe
I was pinspired. Yep, inspired by Pinterest. It happens all the time but I’m one of the types who doesn’t try very many things. When I do try them, some work out well and some do not. It doesn’t stop me from trying more! In honor of the start of the Fantasy Football season (yes, I play), I decided to try the snackadium recipe I had pinned.
Pinterest didn’t have the most detailed directions so I was winging it a bit. The idea seemed pretty basic so I went shopping to pick up everything I thought we would need to put it together!

Creating the Snackadium
The great thing about the snackadium is that you can really add the ingredients that you, your family, and friends like. You can change it up a little every time you make it too!
What you need:
- Cheese dip
- Salsa (I recommend a chunky salsa over a more liquid one)
- Guacamole
- Chips or crackers of your choice
- 2 Slim Jims
- Block of cheese
- toothpicks
What you do:
I started by putting together my goal posts. I cut the Slim Jims into pieces and used toothpicks to keep it all together!

Once I had those created, I was ready to create the field! I used a Pyrex baking dish for my stadium. I set it on top of a metal cookie sheet to hold the chips in around the edges. I have seen it done with a fence made from Rice Krispies treats but I decided to try it without. The double pan approach worked well for me.

I covered pieces of cardboard (cut from a cereal box in our recycling bin) in foil to keep the dips separate when I was pouring them into the pan. You can see in the photo why I recommend going with a chunkier salsa. The salsa I used was a jar we had gotten in San Antonio this summer. It was delicious, but a but too much liquid to stay on its end of the field.
Once all of the dips had been poured, I removed the cardboard. I stuck the goal posts into blocks of cheese to hold them up at either end. Then I added chips and crackers around the edges to complete the snackadium.
It was a huge hit with J and one of our friends who came over to check it out!
It will be perfect for our next Super Bowl party or just any weekend when we’re watching football with friends!

I love being Pinspired!! This recipe idea is just too cool. We don’t really do any tailgating or food for football until Super Bowl…I may just make this then though!
