Dora the Explorer DVD: Dora’s Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom
Before I was a parent, I was a teacher. So I was more than familiar with Dora the Explorer. As a first grade teacher, I heard about her all the time. Now that I am a parent, I get to experience her for myself. Yes, W is a fan of both Dora and Diego. So when we had the opportunity to review the new Dora the Explorer DVD, I had a feeling it would be popular.
Dora’s Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom features three episodes including the title episode. It also includes Benny the Castaway and Dora’s Moonlit Adventure. All three episodes feature the characters your child is familiar with along with the music and repetition that W loves!
W has enjoyed this Dora DVD a few times already. He recognized the music from some promotions he has seen on Nick Jr. When he hears music he recognizes, his entire face lights and he usually needs to dance! He’s only 19 months old so one episode of Dora is enough for him and then we’re on to something new. I like that the DVD features multiple episodes so I can leave it in the DVD player and use it more than once!
