It’s time to think about back to school shopping! From school supplies to fashion, shopping is on my mind! I blame the school supply displays I saw popping up about two weeks ago!

Must-Have School Supplies with Elmer’s
As an elementary school teacher, I am a huge fan of glue sticks. Elmer’s glue sticks to be exact. They are the best and most reliable! When you’re in a classroom with 22 6-year olds, you can never have enough glue sticks! I’ve also discovered a love for Elmer’s Painters Paint Markers. We’ve enjoyed using them at home and I plan to take them to school with me this fall!
After School Snacks with Tyson
The first day of school can be a long one. As a teacher, I always have trouble getting back into the groove of having a scheduled lunch time. Luckily, at my school we also have snack time. But it can be hard to get back into the swing of things after a summer of being able to snack whenever I want. Tyson offers some great options for quick and easy after school snacks!

We homeschool, but still love to hit the back to school sales and after school is in, we get backpacks and things like that that go on clearance.

That is such a great idea!! It’s a great idea for picking up extra supplies that are always needed at the middle of the school year too!

As a mom, can I just say how much I don’t like the glue sticks? The kids’ art falls apart, and I can’t save it. I’m homeschooling this year, and I’m excited to let my kids use the real Elmer’s glue in their projects.

Yes, you can say that! I’ll be honest and say that I never really thought about that! We use a ton of Elmer’s white glue too. The only challenge with little ones and white glue is when they have to turn papers in to me! They all end up glued together!
We work a lot on “Dot, Dot, Not a Lot!”
